Had Ezra told her about the prophecy? Considering the connection between them, my gut told me he had, and the look of recognition on her face confirmed it.

"I've been wanting to ask you about it. Ezra said something about me being the vampire queen or something." She shrugged.

"And you didn't believe him?" I asked.
